In a Bunny State of Mind!

Louise K Tucker

I’m blessed to live where it’s part suburb, part country, which means that I get my fix of nature and wildlife on a daily basis. Although not exactly “wild”, there is also a semi-wild black bunny in our area. Let me just say that this little girl is CUTE!! I found out her name is Rosie and I often like to stop to feed her some carrots or apples. Rosie must have been on my mind when I retrieved my dusty paintbrushes during a recent spell of stormy weather. I painted two watercolours of bunnies. The first one made use of the splash watercolour technique and the second one is more traditional.

There are many ways to be brave.  It’s not just about sorting out a bully, or giving a kick-ass corporate presentation when you’re terrified and your insides are all a-jiggle. Sometimes, it’s about taking on something you didn’t know you could do – taking up the challenge. Such a challenge was presented to me recently…
