On Friday 16 September 2016, Louise visited Reddam House Durbanville to present at their Cultural Assembly on her experience of being a children’s author.
Louise’s presentation included a Q&A session about “Monty’s Terrible Itch” – a story about a young meerkat with a nasty itch he longs to be rid of. Most of the children could relate to Monty’s itchy dilemma and enjoyed the story.
The children eagerly participated in answering the questions, making it a challenge to pick a raised hand from the ‘sea of hands’ in the full assembly hall.
Five lucky learners each walked away with a copy of Monty’s Terrible Itch as a prize for answering a question correctly.
