Jem and the Yumboes, a brand new fairy fantasy by Louise K. Tucker, officially launched as an e-book on Amazon today.
Aimed at ages 8 – 12, the story follows the adventures of eleven-year old Jem when she chases a strange being into an African forest.
There, she meets a host of fantastical creatures including; warrior porcupines, a flying dog, and a loquacious dragon, amongst others.
As a bonus feature, the book’s interior contains 10 delightful black-and-white line illustrations by talented South African illustrator, Stephen Wallace.
